GYMNASIUM &
ATHLETIC FIELDS: The spacious campus provides areas for soccer fields, baseball fields, track and

basketball, indoor sports, and other student activities. The Junior
Olympic size swimming pool is available for Physical Education classes, swimming

PARENT-TEACHER MEETINGS: We recognize the importance of the school and home working together for the welfare of the student. We schedule regular times for parents and school personnel to meet in order to discuss the needs of the student. These Parent-Teacher meetings (PTM) coincide with the release of report cards each nine week and are usually scheduled on Monday evenings. Other conferences may be necessary throughout the school year in order that parents may be informed of their child's progress. For a recent schedule, visit our school calendar.
REPORT CARDS & REPORT SLIPS: In order to keep parents informed of their child's academic progress, report slips are sent home every three weeks. These slips will report tests and daily grades in each subject and are to be signed by the parents and returned the next day. Report cards will be sent home at the end of each nine-week period. These must be signed by the parent and returned.

Health Policies: Parents are asked not to make doctor or dental appointments for students during school hours whenever possible; however, it is understood that this cannot always be avoided. Students will not be given any oral medicine without signed permission. For the welfare of your child and others in the school, all children who are sick must be kept at home. Students with a fever of 100 degrees or more or with infectious diseases will not be allowed in class.
Medications: ALL medications, except inhalers, are to be brought into the school office with a note signed by the parent granting the school permission to administer that medication. The school will not administer any medication without written permission from the parent. The parent must also provide his child's own supply of any medication to be administered. This does not apply to first-aid supplies. For your convenience, we have permission forms for both over the counter and prescription medication that you may print out and bring with you to the school office. click here for forms
ACHIEVEMENT TESTS: Achievement tests are administered to all students in the spring of each year. The purpose of the testing is three-fold: 1) It shows us how our students compare with other students nationwide. 2) It shows us the areas in which our students may be weak or need additional help. 3) It prepares our students for future diagnostic testing.
