choir
Developing hearts and voices for worship, excellence and leadership.
Our choir program offers students transformational experiences through music, fellowship, performance opportunities, and Christ-centered leadership.

Grades 4 - 5
Eagle Chorus
In addition to General Music, students in the 4th and 5th grade who enjoy singing and want to grow as musicians are invited to join Eagle Chorus, our after-school choir club. Students in Eagle Chorus will have the opportunity to sing periodically in Elementary Chapel and each year, they are invited to perform alongside our secondary choirs during the Spring Choral Concert.

Grades 6 - 8
Eagle ensemble
Beginning in 6th grade, middle school students may choose Middle School Choir as an elective. Our Choir program meets 4 times a week and our students are members of the Florida Vocal Association where we perform for several adjudicated events throughout the year. This past school year our middle school students performed at the FVA Solo & Ensemble and received Excellent and Superior ratings. Our middle school choir students also received a superior sight reading rating at the FVA Music Performance Assessment (MPA). Choir students have the opportunity to sign up individually for adjudication to receive individual ratings as well. In addition to competing, students may also apply to serve as choir officers, where they develop leadership skills while supporting their classmates and director throughout the school year. Upon completion of competition season, Middle School choir students receive the privilege of attending a local theme park.

Grades 9 - 12
Eagle Chorale
Students in High School have the opportunity to continue their music education through our choral program. High School students meet 4 times a week while focusing on refining vocal skills and improving their aural and theory skills. Together, these experiences help students become well-rounded musicians. Our High School Choir is a part of the Florida Vocal Association as well as the Sunshine State Association of Christian Schools Fine Arts Competition in Tampa, Florida. This past year our High School Choir competed in the FVA adjudicated Solo & Ensemble where they received a Superior rating. Eagle Chorale also competed in FVA’s Music Performance Assessment (MPA) where they received an Excellent rating. Eagle Chorale also traveled to the SSACS Fine Arts Competition in Tampa where we received two second-place awards. Students may also apply to serve as choir officers, where they develop leadership skills while supporting their classmates and director throughout the school year. Students in our High School choral program also receive the privilege of attending a theme park upon completion of our competition season.
